Welcome to the Williamson Valley Fire District web site. This site is intended to to bring you news and information about the WVFD
and how it serves the people of the Williamson Valley Fire District.
WVFD proudly protects the people and property in this Fire District which consists of 32,000 rural acres.
WVFD operates from Station 91, located at 15450 Williamson Valley Rd, Prescott, AZ. 86305.
WVFD also provides EMS/Fire/Rescue service to the town of Bagdad, operating from Station 95 in Bagdad.
Our District is a public department manned by Fire Chief Bryan Smith and his staff (see ‘Personnel’ section of website).
Reserve and volunteer firefighters provide additional staffing.
The WVFD’s Insurance Service Organization (ISO) Public Protection Classification is 7/10.
Bagdad’s ISO is 6/9. The WVFD Board of Directors is elected by District residents and serves without pay.
WVFD provides community classes in fire safety and emergency first aid.
Additional support to the District is provided by the Friends of Williamson Valley Fire District, a nonprofit 501c3 organization,
which undertakes fund raising events like the monthly pancake breakfast and the annual Art and Craft Show.
