WVFD proudly protects the people and property in a primarily rural area of over 32,000 acres. We operate out of a station located

firefighters, volunteers, and part time admin and accounting support. The District attempts to provide 24/7 Advanced Life Support with a minimum of two personnel on duty.
We are a Department of professional fire fighters and volunteers. The District's Board of Directors serves without pay.
WVFD provides fire protection and a multitude of emergency and non-emergency services, including Advanced Life Support (ALS) services
